John Vardell
John Vardell is one of the founders of Automne Vein. Having grown up in Midland Texas, he recently spent two months in Indonesia before returning to Texas. His early production work includes an album for Samantha Roberts as well as a Caring Heart Benfit Concert CD that featured such acts as Levi Smith, Brian Batch, Flavious Jones, Stewart, and Nick Vascou performing at the Ground Floor Coffee Shop(R.I.P.) in Midland. He is currently working on a yet untitled solo project as well as new material for Automne Vein while living in Amarillo, Texas.
“I feel music must have an emotional impact. If it doesn’t move me, it’s not worth my time. I want fans to be taken on a pilgrimage of sorts, a spiritual journey that reflects the past while hurling them toward their future, or sometimes, simply causing them to be held in a moment of awakening. The Music I create represents the weather of my soul. In that sense, I am both beautiful and insane.”
