From A Secret Place was formed by Wolf Morrison and akinoT in 1998 as a side-project of Pneumaura. The catalyst for its creation was the seed of an idea which has been growing and taking shape every since.
While Pneumaura focused primarily on free experimentation and had few preconcieved parameters for expression, the new project, FASP, is devoted soley to telling of the story of a place called the Misamee and two of its legends, Philo and Jubee.
The music, too, has become more stylized, taking on a life and voice of its own. Every song is a part of the puzzle, a part of the tale, and with the writing of Chapter Three, the focus of the story is drawing to a finer point, revealing more than the two previous chapters.
The first chapter of the written story of From A Secret Place has now been made available as well, adding a new dimension to the ever-expanding exploration of this conceptual project.
